Homemade Lara Bars/Power Balls

This week I decided to share a recipe, something that I normally would share on my other blog, Cooking Up A Family. I thought this recipe was perfect for this blog because its has to do with my working out and running.

Homemade Lara Bars

I love to eat a Lara Bar when I head home from the gym or an hour or so after running around the area. I usually only buy Lara bars when they are on sale and I have coupons to make the price reasonable. I sometimes run out of these yummy little bars so I decided to make my own.

I searched and searched the internet for a good recipe. I have been trying to make a few of my own recipes for a couple of other things, so I just wanted help on this one. I needed a break from recipe creating. I found one that looked good so I adapted it a bit, mainly to make it as easy as possible, I hate to make a lot of dishes when I cook. All in all B and I both thought they tasted great and were very much like the original. I cant wait to experience with some new flavors.
